Certified ScrumMaster Training By Lonnie Weaver-Johnson in Boston, MA - 14 PDUs

All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course and the corresponding evaluation designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.

Our CSM training is focused on Scrum basics and the ScumMaster role. Besides the basic concepts the training includes discussions and group dynamics about the necessary soft skills for a ScrumMaster, aspects of technical excellence for the Scrum Team, and company-oriented Scrum implementation aspects.

Target audience: Project Managers, Software Developers, Functional Managers, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Engineers and Architects, executives.

Prerequisites: Experience with project management.

Exam: At the end of the training an 1-hour long exam is given in order to assess students acquired knowledge. This exam is based on the official CSM Exam given by the ScrumAlliance. The certification does not depend on this exam’s final results.

Prescription-Free Pain Resolution

New England Health and Wellness will be hosting a free interactive seminar on clinically-proven, non-drug solutions for pain featuring Ramon Nunez, PhD, DAc and Joseph Sliwkowski, MD from SFTi. Whether you are suffering from pain yourself or are a healthcare provider working with people in pain, this seminar will give you answers that make sense.

Through live demonstration, participants in this seminar will experience immediate and noticeable improvements in pain, stiffness and mobility. Clinical cases will be discussed of back and neck pain, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis and TMJ that have been resolved or significantly improved without medication. Participants will come to understand the medical rationale of this safe, simple and proven therapy.

Dr. Nunez is one of the world’s leading authorities on pain and the developer of Somatic Functional Therapy (SFT). He has been a guest speaker at international conferences on health and wellness and trains other clinicians in these therapeutic techniques. Dr. Sliwkowski is the first medical physician in New England trained in SFT and actively incorporating it in his clinical practice.

For more information see the recent story in the Lowell Sun newspaper: http://www.lowellsun.com/local/ci_25562510/therapist-applies-pressure-relieve-veterans-pain

SFT is backed by cutting-edge science and ten years of clinical research performed at some of the leading organizations in the country, including Henry Ford Health System, Chrysler, Dow Chemical, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Clinical trials with thousands of patients demonstrate that this therapy not only reduces, but also resolves both acute and chronic pain. Programs incorporating SFT have been recognized by The American Hospital Association as examples of best practices.

Space is limited and reservations are required. Please RSVP by April 16, 2014. For more information call 978-244-9355.

If you are a US Veteran with pain, or care about one, we invite you to attend to learn about a special, FREE program for veterans.
