It has become an indispensable tool used in virtually every manufacturing and academic discipline; therefore, some familiarity with statistical methods is essential for all of us. This course is a Quality Engineering Statistics series and is recommended for those students who are looking to improve their background in the field of statistics. This course will cover many topics in descriptive and inferential statistics and will be useful for professional development or as preparation for ASQ certifications with a statistical emphasis, such as CQE, CRE, or Six Sigma belts.
